Welcome - July 2026
To our partners, advisors, and community,
Welcome to the inaugural edition of the Kreneon newsletter! We are thrilled to launch this periodic update to share our progress as we build the institutional infrastructure layer for the global water sector.
Over the past several months, we have laid a strong foundation with our focus across hardware telemetry and financial architecture. From refining our at source-verification model to introducing Virtual Water Purchase Agreements (vWPAs) to institutional partners, our mission has remained singular: transforming manufactured water into a bankable, cleared asset class unlocking trillions in water infrastructure finance backlog.
July Progress Highlights
- Engineering & Field Readiness: We expanded our technical leadership team to drive our systems-thinking execution ahead of our September field deployments. We continue to march toward field tests (TRL6) in early Fall. We are expanding our focus on LOI and supply partners for our Q1’27 Cohort. We have patents pending for technology, process and financial infrastructure patents.
- Project Finance: We are advancing standardized vWPA contracts to convert off-take risk into bankable covenants for institutional lenders, while evaluating several additional revenue models that stem from our core. Additionally, we built financial models that demonstrate the value of deploying Kreneon solutions to both purchasers and suppliers, allowing customers to see the real opportunity from their deployments.
- Policy Tailwinds: Bipartisan draft U.S. legislation proposing a 30% Investment Tax Credit (ITC) for water reuse and reclamation infrastructure provides a powerful macro catalyst for our off-taker model.
Looking Ahead
As we look toward August and our upcoming fall deployments, the need for standardized, bankable water solutions is undeniable. Just as physical energy benchmarks transformed how the world finances clean power, Kreneon is building the permanent digital infrastructure that makes water a secure, bankable asset for generations to come.
